Thesis title “The experience of Natur-Waldkindergarten in Germany”, Supervisor Professor Enver Bardulla. 1998-2003: Educator in different school and extra-school context in Berlin, Milan and Parma. 2001-03: “Master for social workers in prevention and reduction of preteen discomfort in school and extra-school context”, University of San Marino, Department of Education, Supervisors Professor Luigi Guerra and Professor Giacomo Stella. 2008: PHD in Theoretical and Applied Social Sciences, Department of Social Cognitive and Quantitative Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Supervisor Roberta Cardarello. The title of the PhD thesis, that I discussed in March 2008, is “Telling the school: documentation and pre-school” and concerns the production of documents and “documentation” in schools. Particularly the aim of the thesis is to look into theoretical problems of documenting educational processes and to analyze teacher’s opinions about the practice of documenting at school. The research implemented data base related to educational and didactic projects that involved nursery and pre-school classes located in the Reggio Emilia province. The research took into consideration the relationship between University teaching and teachers training. The research project used ad hoc instruments, such questionnaires, interviews, personal observations, autobiographical elements, etc. In doing so, the teacher professional experience and its representation could be analyzed and related to the various formats of the University teaching. Involved in Prin 2007 "Fostering reading comprehension through pictures" - National Coordinator Professor Emma Nardi. Since July 2009: involved in the research "Core", “Study about continuity in preschool and primary school in Reggio Emilia”. The research involved the Research Center Valfor, Department of Social Cognitive and Quantitative Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Municipality of Reggio Emilia. In this research project I have analyzed interviews through content analysis and textual analysis. The aim of the analysis was to point out teacher representations in order to continuity processes and continuity practices. Involved in Prin 2009 “Patterns and criteria of the pedagogic research documentation and evaluation through videos and digital products in the semantic web context” - National Coordinator Professor Ugo Margiotta. Since 2010 participating in the research team within Comenius European project titled "CREANET Creativity in pre-school education". Such project involves UNIMORE, the town of Scandiano, the Sern (Sweden Emilia Romagna Network). In the last few years the research involved theoretical and empirical deepening related in particular to: - educational documentation - teachers, support teachers and special educators opinions related to their profession and their teaching and educational practices - observation methodological practice. Some research results have been presented in international meeting sessions (Eapril 2010, Jure 2010, Earli 2011, 2013, 2017, EECERA 2017).
